Labor-only moving when you have the truck
Labor-only loading or unloading in San Diego runs $120 to $180 per hour for a 2-mover crew with a 2-hour minimum, typically finishing in 2 to 3 hours per truck. We load U-Hauls, Penskes, PODS, U-Boxes, and rental box trucks with the same pad-wrapping and stacking technique we'd use on our own truck. We don't drive your rental: separate Cal-T regs make that a different service.
What's included in this service?
- Loading rental box trucks (U-Haul, Penske, Budget) with proper weight distribution
- Loading PODS and U-Box containers (we know the dimensions and stack accordingly)
- Unloading at destination only (you drove the truck, we put it in the right rooms)
- Pad-wrapping and shrink-wrapping included, you bring or rent the pads
- Disassembly of beds, tables, and IKEA on request
- Heavy-item-only labor (gun safe, piano, hot tub) with the right crew size
